Die Kollegas entwickeln weiter und es kostet mich nix. Null Cent. Einfach downloaden und installieren und über die Wettergestaltung freuen.
Und dies für beide FS. Da fällt mögliche Kritik bei mir extremst zurückhaltend aus.

- Added additional prevention techniques for FS-rendered high cumulus or stratus clouds above 25,000ft AGL.
- Fixed problem with FS9 Visibility Graduation and incorrect AGL data causing improper visibility rendering at higher altitude airports.

Update 1A had a problem that created new visibility issues in FS9. This has been corrected and the new update 1B is now available.
Interim Update 1B fixes some problems with visibility depiction and cloud selection at higher altitudes. Please visit our Support and Downloads page to get your update.

Active Sky Evolution SP2 has been officially released! ASE-SP2 is a complete and comprehensive weather simulation engine for Microsoft Flight Simulator X and FS9. This new version provides dozens of improvements, fixes and enhancements over previous versions.
Three different FSX weather depiction modes are now available, including Standard, Smooth Cloud Transitions and Direct Weather Control. The availability of three modes allows users to get the best experience possible given their needs and type of simming. New local range suppression and ceiling-based write suppression is now available for both FS9 and FSX Standard Depiction Modes. Improved high-performance depiction logic for FS9 minimizes visual cloud shifts and inconsistencies. A newly configurable visibility graduation ceiling allows more realistic and refined visibility smoothing (FS9 and FSX DWC Mode) in a variety of environments. Integration with FSUIPC v4 (FSX) now permits 3rd-party add-ons such as Radar Contact to receive proper localized weather information when using DWC mode. These and many more enhancements have been made to provide the most refined and realistic weather experience possible.
Active Sky Evolution SP2 includes all the realism-based weather simulation features you’ve come to expect including Private weather server access, historical weather database, realistic wake turbulence simulation, comprehensive flight and weather planning, graphical mapping, internal FS9/FSX weather gauge, universal graphics add-on integration and much, much more. Service Pack 3:
- Reduced sensitivity of location change detection which was previously activating improperly while using the SLEW function, causing unnecessary resets and refreshes.
- Improved interpolation of precipitation types snow/rain, so that rain will not be improperly depicted when temperatures indicate freezing.
- Added new “Force ATC Wind Lock” option. When enabled, surface winds will not change, and ATC runway assignment conflicts should be avoided. The locked wind will be “reset” when you cross the 80nm threshold to your destination, if using a flightplan, or within 3000ft AGL of the surface otherwise, in order to allow the wind to update to the latest conditions before arrival, but only once.
- Fixed problem on server relating to 116 “lingering” stations that were providing stale aloft data.
- Fixed problem with aloft interpolation logic that would cause improper wind directions in some cases.

Active Sky Advanced, a previous generation product, has reached end of life and is officially superseded by Active Sky Evolution.
Official support and online server availability for ASA will cease on October 1, 2012.
Active Sky Advanced users should immediately upgrade to ASE which is offered as a free upgrade via our website at http://www.hifitechinc.com (downloads).
