    • Wrong.  I'm running without a community folder......no addons.....crashes 12 out of 12 times.   Sim has run without a hitch for 4 years now broken.  Unbelievable.
    • Update broke the game for me.  CTD after the Dune screens.  I'm on my second re-install. crashrpt_lang.txt
    • I appreciate the help, i ended up just throwing the foxindiatecho F14 cockpit in it.
    • Hey you kids ... load up the wagon and let’s get going.  I’ve got the picnic basket and don’t forget the cooler and charcoal.  Grandma ... do you want to ride shotgun or sit with the kids in the back?  Put those phones down and check out this beautiful valley.  Okay ... everybody out!  The parks just down by the river.  It’s a burger-meister day in Innsbruck!  Rupert ... how do you want your burger?  🍔   (Sorry Rupert ... just too beautiful to lower that ceiling and we're ready for summer here in the Upper Midwest ... but kept the bird below 3,500 ... and yes ... just as beautiful in the winter.  Thanks)!             😎
    • Great shots and truly a work of love!   🫠 Michael

    • I have waited for 35 years to have a Tomahawk VH-TLA simulated well enough to be procedural... I just spent the last 2 weeks working on repaints for aircraft I actually flew and some for a couple of requests…   VH-TLA is the Tomahawk I spent the most time in and had the most love for (although VH-FTI had better performance as TLA was heavier due to the custom paint scheme).   So one user at flightsim.to requested an early version of VH-TLA just after she had been shipped to Australia and delivered to Royal Aero Club of New South Wales (RACNSW). That turned into a journey seeing every single paint scheme TLA has had). So being that it was relatively easy to make the additional historical variants it led to a historical guide for many aircraft.   VH-TLA seems to be one of the most famous Tomahawks in Australia with many learning to fly in her.   So I did up a contact sheet showing all the variants so far. The only ones still WIP are the 1982 & 1985 RACNSW ones as I’m trying to chase them for any possible copies of the old logos otherwise I’ll have to manually generate some not so accurate vector graphics, or find someone who can do it, or even AI that can help me.
    • FSX would be a good guess as it matches the aircraft linked from the article.   If you liked this article, the same author did a whole series of these "come and visit" stories which you can find by clicking on his name or "come and visit" in the tags at the end of the article.
    • Well, given that it was published in 2008, and he says FS (but not which version), and looking at the pix, especially the water, it's most likely FSX.
    • Having had a wonderful time at Old Warden, N118PW and F-GEFX need to get to North Weald so that the organizers can decide who will carry parachutists and who won't. Claude Marx starts the ball rolling taking F-GEFX away first, demonstrating the method used by Dakota pilots for short runways "OK, full throttle, hold till the revs are nearly on the red line, brakes off, and when you get almost to the end of the runway, 25% flap and climb..."   followed shortly after by Joseph King easing N118PW into the air, using the same method. "...just remember to retract the flaps as soon as possible. Did you notice a balloon out there?"   They fly in a loose formation until they get overhead N Weald   Crassus Terrani takes F-GEFX down into N Weald and is parked on the large apron... and is parked on the large apron...   ...whilst Joseph puts N118PW down gently and is parked near the control tower.   Suddenly there is a very loud noise and everyone rushes outside to see... ... our camera ship arriving at the regulation 600 feet.  Howard Martin from Kelowna,Canada, has brought his B-25J to act as the camera ship for the channel crossing... ... and parks up on the main apron
    • I have been updating P2atc as soon as the latest beta was released. ( www.pilot2atc.com/index.php/public-betas ) There was however some concern regarding eventual reverse compatibility, as MSFS and the upcoming FS2024 seem to be quite different than good old FS2004. I posed this question to Dave at Pilot2ATC , admin@p2atc.com. His reply was almost immediate. He assured me that there was no plan to break the ability of FS2004 to use the latest updates, apparently the deciding factor is FSUIPC, as long as that continues to work ,keeping P2atc updated "up-to-the-minute" should not be a problem. I wanted to pass that info along in the event anyone else had similar concerns. The outstanding support of Pilot2ATC deserves a shout-out in anyone's book!

    • What flight simulator is this?
    • Verify IRIS F-14 File Integrity. Even though you haven't directly modified IRIS files, consider the possibility of corrupted downloads during your modding spree. Try completely uninstalling and then reinstalling the IRIS F-14. This ensures you have a clean, uncorrupted version.
