Serious vibration problems related to the undercarriage meant that at the instant of landing, the pilot became momentarily blinded - the frequency of the vibration matched the natural frequency of the human eyeball. Further serious vibration at certain throttle settings were also intolerable. Changes to the ejector seat headrest, undercarriage design and replacement of a faulty fuel pump cured these problems eventually.
