Dash 8-400Q in Arbeit.....

Hallo,

habe ich soeben entdeckt: Es wird (für X-Plane) an einer Dash 8-400Q gewerkelt. :luxhello:

Bei X-Pilot.com gibt es einen eigenen Thread über die Entwicklung der Dash 8.......

The Dash 8 Q400 is a 78 seat commercial turboprop capable of 360kts cruising speed and has the range of most competing regional jets. Launched in 2000 by Bombardier Aerospace there are currently over 142 operating with over 2 dozen airlines worldwide.

The Q400 for X-plane will have:
-High level of visual realism
-Fully 3D cockpit with working switches and nobs
-True to life flight dynamics, with backing from real world Q400 Pilots
-High resolution EFIS displays
-Advanced cockpit lighting

And much more as I continue to work on her.

Wie siehts denn mit dem FMC aus? Wird das auch funktionieren? Überlege ja schon lange, mal den Umstieg zu proben. Mir fehlts da aber noch an geeigneten IFR-Maschinen.

I also want to thank anyone who has stayed vigil despite the lack of updates over the months. We appreciate your patience while we work and we hope to be able to please you once we have finally released the Q400.

Das freut mich. Eine solide DASH 8 fuer X-Plane und der ebenfalls in Arbeit befindlich CRJ... das sind aus meiner Sicht die richtigen Flugzeuge, um in X-Plane dahinzugleiten und sich die Landschaft anzusehen und nebenbei mal ein wenig zu fliegen. :thumbsup:
Fuer die DASH 8 gibt es Einiges zu tun. Alaska und Kanada, den Fototapeten-Szenerien von den USA die neue Szenerie von Kolumbien... Man kann mal mit einem Verkehrsflugzeug unterwegs sein, aber nicht zu hoch um Einzelheiten der Landschaft unten zu sehen. Deshalb habe ich bei den Microsoft-Sims auch Turbopropp-Maschinen im Hangar. Da nutze ich die SAAB 340 und die ATR 72.
