If it were me, I would wait for UTX Europe. Our goal is to have the product released by Jan 2008. Of course, we won't push the product out if it is not ready by then. But, that release date seems very probable as of right now.

Flight One Software and Anthony Vos today have released the free Southwest USA/Grand Canyon plug-in for Ground Environment X USA-Canada.
This modification is modeled after the desert colors of the Southwest USA. The plug-in includes coverage of the Grand Canyon also.
This plug-in is optional (and free) for all Ground Environment X USA-Canada customers, and it requires the previous installation of Update 2 for Ground Environment X USA-Canada.
To access this plug-in, users should click the Update button in the Ground Environment X main program interface. Once installed, the optional Southwest textures will be listed in the main screen.

DVD and Boxed GEX USA-Canada Users:
Wemade every effort to service you immediately with this update however due to some circumstances that were unforeseen and the fact that the 1.09 update was never planned to be a full product change, you will need to contact Flight1 to be given a key for the updated product.
BE AWARE, if you are a legal owner of GEX USA-Canada you will gain access to this update and Flight1 is taking steps to ensure this process is made fully automatic in the future with boxed runs of any new GEX release however please be patient with this process as Flight1 will try and expedite things for you as quickly as they can.
The 3 categories of boxed product individuals are as follows:
1. If you have the DVD edition which was ordered directly from Flight1, we can send you a download key by email. To do this, please submit a general customer service request via our ticket system at http://www.flight1.com/ticket.asp. Please provide your Flight1.com order number, name and address on the order, and email address.
2. If you got the DVD from another vendor (not Flight1.com directly), we will be implementing a DVD exchange program that will likely work as follows
a. Send can the DVD product back to a specified address we will email you a download key.
b. Alternately, in some cases, you may be able to provide certain proof of purchase and we will get you a download key.

3. Since we will have to change USA-CANADA to the new NORTH AMERICA product on the next DVD run, if you cannot download this update, on a case by case basis, we may offer a DVD exchange (terms have not been arranged yet since the DVD is still in production). Please be aware our next DVD production run for North America for a few weeks (this is March). It could be as long as 6 weeks from not that a DVD would be ready. Hello,
Due to a problem we had during manufacturing, the DVD exchange won't be available until the new production DVDs arrive.
If you would rather not have to wait for the DVD exchange, you can attach a copy of your receipt for your proof of purchase here or you can email it to jeff@flight1.com. We can then create a download key for you for the download version of the software. You will only be able to get the download key or DVD exchange, not both.
